Snehapanam – Internal Oleation Therapy

Snehapanam refers to the oral intake of medicated ghee or herbal oils, administered in carefully increasing doses over several days. It is a preparatory therapy for Panchakarma (body purification), and is also used as an independent treatment for specific conditions.

This therapy is designed to loosen deep-rooted toxins (ama) from the tissues, bringing them to the digestive tract for elimination.

Procedure

After a detailed consultation, Dr. K.S. Ramkumar prescribes a personalized dosage of medicated ghee or oil, tailored to your Prakriti (constitution) and health condition. The dosage is gradually increased over a span of 5 to 12 days, followed by a special diet to support digestion and detoxification.
