Lepanam – Herbal Paste Therapy

Lepanam is a classical Ayurvedic therapy where a specially prepared medicated herbal paste is applied externally on the affected area of the body. It is highly effective for treating inflammatory disorders, skin problems, and localized pain or swelling.

 Procedure

Based on the patient’s condition and dosha imbalance, a unique combination of herbal powders and liquids (like medicated oils, ghee, or decoctions) is prepared. The paste is then applied warm over the target area and left to act for a specific period before being removed gently.
